Campbell Hall, N.Y. – Zylofone is a not for profit organization that provides interactive, performing, and creative arts programs that allow participants of all ages and abilities to achieve social engagement, emotional balance, and intellectual growth through the transformative experience of music, theatre, dance, and art. Through these experiences, each participant is encouraged to appreciate the presence of beauty in themselves and the community around them in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere thereby enhancing their quality of life.
This year they are presenting their first-ever Zylofolluza, a weekend of fun for all families with great programming to be enjoyed by all. Kicking off Zylofolluza is their new children’s musical “THE GRUNCH.” The Grunch tells the story of Rudy Grunch, a grumpy 6th grader who always feels like an outsider. When the entire school becomes excited about the annual school musical, he devises the perfect plan to ruin it for everyone. He steals the sets, costumes, and lights the night before it opens! But will the spirit of theatre prevail? Join the fun and come see! Showtimes will be Friday, August 2, 2019, at 7:00 pm and Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Maybrook Alternative Learning Center 120 Broadway Maybrook NY 12543. Admission is $10.00 for Adults and Children 11 & up and $5.00 for ages 10 years & under.
Zylofone’s Zylofolluza continues with their 2nd Annual ROCKATHON on Sunday, August 4, 2019, from 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Newburgh Elks Lodge #247, located at 356 Washington St, Newburgh NY. There is an extraordinary schedule of entertainment set for the day with some of the best Hudson Valley Bands and Entertainers. Huge Tricky Tray, Raffles, Food and more! Admission is $20.00 for Adults 16 & up, $15.00 for ages 10 – 15 years and under 10 years – FREE. Admission includes Food, Live Music all Day, Door Prize Ticket.
