A LOVE OF SKYDIVING AND REALLY GREAT SANGRIA
In 2011, when Christine Kelley (aka CK) began running the cafe at Skydive the Ranch in Gardiner, NY, she had no idea the force this beverage would become. The café, source of outstanding food and pleasant company by day, became a bustling speakeasy at night. Amidst raucous laughter, music and dancing, CK brewed up large batches of sangria for guests to enjoy after hours, only to have it disappear within minutes. She couldn’t make it fast enough, and skydivers couldn’t get enough of it.
Since then, CK and partner Tom Falzone have shared cases and cases of FREEFALL SANGRIA at events throughout the US. It has touched the lips of friends across the pond and to the west. They serve the chilled elixir with a playful warning: sip it slow and sip it long – dare to drink different!
Because of the increasing demand, they were encouraged to expand the operation. So they made the leap. Tom and CK purchased a property, taking production from the basement of their old farmhouse to the base of the Shawangunk Mountains. Here is where the next chapter began.
FREEFALL SANGRIA is becoming an after hours staple at dropzones, backyard BBQ’s and parties, bringing the magic of FREEFALL to sangria lovers everywhere. It is euphoric. It is smooth and powerful. It is strength and lightness of being all at once.
It is Liquid Altitude.

Our mission is simple, to bring fresh baked artisan sourdough to our city and beyond. North Wind Bread Company is an Artisan Bakery in, Middletown, NY. Specializing in Sourdough Bread, Laminated Pastries, Soups, Salads & Sandwiches, Coffee, Teas & Homemade Beverages. Started by the owners of Oak & Reed, the bread and pastries produced at North Wind Bread Company will feature the same high standards for locally sourced products, attention to detail and freshness.
In keeping with our namesake, North Wind Bread Company is an homage to another Aesop Fable, The North Wind and the Sun. In this fable, there is a competition between the North Wind and the Sun to decide which is the stronger of the two. The challenge was to make a passing traveler remove his cloak. However hard the North Wind blew, the traveler only wrapped his cloak tighter, but when the Sun shone, the traveler was overcome with heat and had to take his cloak off. In essence, kindness prevails over force and gentleness does more than violence. A lesson in morality that could be heeded by all, but is a driving force in how we strive to operate our businesses and our personal lives.
Oh, we also like to bake good bread.
Orange County Distillery is the result of what happens when two small business owners have the same long four month off-season. What started as an off the hip idea at a Christmas party very quickly turned into something real, more than just an idea. That idea turned into an LLC, which turned a run down one-hundred year old barn being used for tractor and spare parts storage into a distillery, which turned a working vegetable farm into a farm that is now entirely a distillery farm.
Orange County Distillery was founded by John Glebocki and Bryan Ensall in 2014. Both former small business owners in Orange County, they now both work full time for Orange County Distillery. Co-Owner and Co-Founder John Glebocki was the owner of J. Glebocki Farms, a fifth-generation farm in Goshen, New York. Co-Owner and Co-Founder Bryan Ensall was the owner of a lawn care franchise that serviced all of Orange County, New York. Together, these two small business owners somehow found the spare time away from those other full-time jobs to build the distillery from the ground up, almost entirely with their own two hands (the only thing they chose not to do themselves was install the electrical panel board).
Orange County Distillery doesn't pretend to be something it's not. We're not a huge operation. In fact, almost all of our operations take place within our 7,000 square foot barn. But what that allows us to do is learn this craft at our pace on our terms. No one telling us to hurry up and sell before we're ready. We'll bottle and sell our spirits only when we are completely sure that you'll not only want to buy one bottle, you'll want to come back and buy another.
So come take a look, see our farm, try our spirits. If you want white-walls and granite counter tops while you sample spirits, we might not be your place. But if you want to see a true farm distillery, a true farm to bottle operation, then stop on by.

The Orchards of Concklin has put its stamp on the Pomona region. The Pomona region is named after the goddess of fruit in honor of Nicholas Concklin, the founder of the farm.
The Concklins first came to America in 1637 from Nottingham, England. John and Anias Concklin were members of the first Presbyterian Church of Salem, Massachusetts. The family migrated to Rhode Island, then across to Long Island. The Concklins settled in Cutchogue for a while and then moved up to Eastchester in Westchester County.
The family owned and operated the land continuously through the American Revolution, the Civil War, and the first metropolitan pressures of the early 20th century.

Our products are better than others for several reasons, one being we bottle your syrup the same night we produce it. Each bottle bares the date of the Sap Run from which it came, as well as specific bottle number based on how many bottles we made that night. When we say we are small batch and artisan made, we mean it. We don’t play games like other producers do, bringing in sap from out of state and calling it New York, nor do we bring in bulk syrup from a wholesale warehouse and bottle it as our own.
After a three season apprenticeship in the Catskill Mountains with a long time local sugar maker, it was time to head back to Pancake Hollow road to start tapping trees I’ve had my eyes on since I was a child growing up behind Highland High School, on the backside, the cold side of the Illinois Mountain, part of the Marlboro Mountain Chain, foothill mountains of The Catskills a little closer to the Hudson River in the Lower Hudson Valley. The mountain soils are glacially deposited, the likely reason along with proper climate for incredible flavor profiled tree derived syrup.
Our goal is to provide our local community, New York City based as well as select national customers who appreciate the Hudson Valley’s bounty and seek its agricultural products out specifically. We take great pride in producing the highest quality product truly indicative of the world class experience people expect from New York, USA.
