Set the Pace, Embrace Opportunity

Since 1895, The Goshen Chamber has existed in one form or another to help local businesses. Today, with over 300 members, the Goshen Chamber of Commerce is Setting the Pace by supporting, promoting and bringing value to all its members, in Goshen, Chester and beyond.

Networking

The Goshen Chamber of Commerce offers many opportunities to develop new business relationships through participation in events such as those described below.

  • Informational Breakfast: A monthly networking event catered by local Goshen businesses that include speakers touching on topics such as business strategies and workplace environment issues.
  • Educational Round Table: A smaller, more intimate setting where members are invited to discuss their views on a given issue presented by a speaker.
  • Ribbon Cuttings: Honorary ceremonies organized to celebrate an individual business’ biggest moments including grand openings and anniversaries.
  • Great American Weekend: Since 1982, the Great American Weekend has been a tradition that defines Goshen as a Great American Community. The Great American Weekend offers activities for every member of the family, and has grown into one of the county’s most prestigious events.
  • GCoC Farmers’ Market: Taking place every Friday from Spring to Fall, this event includes dozens of vendors, offering fresh food, produce, and beverages for all to enjoy.

Government Advocacy

The Goshen Chamber is connected to State Legislators, Village & Town Officials and the County Executive’s Office to ensure that the Voice of the business community is heard in Legislative and Regulatory matters. At the Federal level, we are connected to Congressional and US Senators on a regular basis.
